Patricia “Pat” Weatherbee Paananen, 70, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 in Fort Worth. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the Eastside Church of Christ in Graham. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Pat was born Sept. 15, 1950 in Graham to the late Robert “Pete” and Lurlena (Weiss) Weatherbee. She married Rick Paananen July 17, 1998 in Great Mills, MD. She spent over 22 years with the love of her life, dancing, traveling, laughing, and raising kids and grandkids. She carried herself with grace and dignity and always took time to look her best. She loved family and friends more than life itself and always went above and beyond. Like the song says, “with the face of an angel, pretty eyes that shine,” Pat was that and so much more.
Survivors include: husband, Rick Paananen of North Richland Hills; daughters, Leigh Ann Dobbs and husband, Brad of Hudson Oaks and Sarah Flanders of Klamath Falls, OR; sons, Brad Cusenbary and wife, Laura of Steamboat Springs, CO, Danny Cusenbary and wife, Priscilla of Graham, and Todd Paananen of North Richland Hills; sister, Linda Geer and husband, Randall of Graham; grandchildren, Grant Cusenbary, Lilly Cusenbary, Heidi Cusenbary, Austin Cusenbary, Kailee Hubbard, and Christian Flanders; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Riley, and brother, Bobby Dale.
