Valerie Elaine Bell, 43, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, in Graham. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Newcastle under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Valerie was born Aug. 13, 1978, in Canyon, Texas, to Sherri and Doug Bell. Valerie moved to Young County with her parents in 1980 from Happy, Texas.
She loved music especially Patsy Cline. Pizza and ice cream were her favorite foods. She liked to spend her days with the staff at dayhab and enjoyed being at home watching her Disney movies, but was happiest when she was with her family. She loved to keep her brothers guessing on who was the favorite brother. She had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs.
Survivors include; parents, Doug and Sherri Bell of Newcastle; siblings, Guy Bell and wife Tanya of Graham, Matthew Bell and wife Mori of Corsicana, JT Bell and wife Karissa of Peaster, Travis Bell and wife Sina of Graham, and Kimberly Flowers and husband Garrett of Hico; grandmother, Peggy Bell; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Valerie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Lavelle Starkey, Harold and Cyndie Starkey; grandfather, Doug Bell, Sr., uncles, Wade and Danny Bell.
