Earlene Lucille Farabee Price, age 88, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, March 10, 2022, in Olney. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Morrison Funeral Home. Burial followed at Jean Cemetery in Jean, TX.
Earlene was born Feb. 7, 1934 to Gordon and Allagra (Simons) Farabee in New Castle TX. She graduated from New Castle High School in 1952 and married James Cates the same year.
In 1975 she married Bobby Lee Price in Graham. Earlene and Bob enjoyed camping and going on adventures together, their favorite places to visit were Branson Missouri and The Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. Earlene enjoyed meeting new people, reading her bible, crocheting, sewing and cooking.
Survivors include: daughter Carolyn Cates Hunnewell and Chris of Graham; sons, Michael Cates and Shelley of Temple, Roland Price and Kay of Goodlettsville,TN, Mark Price and Scarlett of Graham, Bobby Price and Michelle of Crowley, Marvin Price and Becky of Salado, Joe Price and Lucretia of Whitney; sister-in-law, Diane Farabee of Wichita Falls; seventeen grandchildren, eight great Grandchildren, two nephews and two great grand nieces.
Earlene is preceded in death by husband Bobby Lee Price, brother David Gordon Farabee and parents Gordon and Allagra Farabee.
Earlene was a three-time cancer survivor, in lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation in honor of Earlene to the American Cancer Society Young County Chapter, P.O. Box 582, Graham, TX. 76450 or a charity of your choice.
The family would also like to say a special thank you to the staff at Seniorly Yours, Graham TX and the staff at Grace Care Center, Olney TX for the excellent care they provided Earlene in the final years of her life.
