Anna Lou Chick Brizendine was born Aug. 6, 1937, in Bryson, TX. She died on March 23, 2022, at her home in McKinney, TX. She was 84 years old. She was the daughter of Robert Powell Chick and Carrie Belle Rogers Chick. Anna was the mother of four children: Floyd Leon Park and wife Cherel of Canyon, TX; Anna Kathleen Roberson Carl and husband Andrew Selking of Hillsboro, TX; and Patrick Kerry Roberson and wife Vicki of Denton, TX. She was preceded in death by son Sean Alton Roberson of Wimberley, TX who passed away in 1989.
Anna was the fifth child of nine siblings, all who have preceded her in death except three sisters: Billie Chick Downey of Graham, TX; Mary Chick Lummus of Shiner TX; and Barbara (Suzy) Sullivan of Kennewick, WA.
Anna is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her favorite hobbies were music and dancing. She spent most of her school years in Graham, TX.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
