Sharlet "Patty" Elaine Posey Davis entered into eternal peace on July 3, 2017 at San Angelo Community Hospital in San Angelo.
Patty was born in Olney on Jan. 19, 1965, a daughter of the late Charles and Lois Posey She graduated from Newcastle High School in 1983. She married the late Richard E. Davis and together they lived in Atkins, Ark. for many years. Patty was a loving sister and aunt. She was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Elton Davis, in 2008. Her loving parents, Charles "Charlie" Posey and Lois Ludwig Posey of Newcastle, preceded her death along with two nephews, Jonathan David Posey Moore and Coburn "Coby" Troy York, and one niece, Madison Posey.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; loving sisters, Beverley A. Smith of Brownwood, Kathy Wise and husband, Michael, of Leesville La., and Tammy York and husband, Bennie York, of Stockdale; her caring brothers, Troy Posey and wife, Pam, of Stanton, Jack Posey of Graham and Tom Posey and his wife, Shana, of Graham. Patty was a loving aunt to 13 nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and -nephews and many friends.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. at the Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society or any charitable association of your choice.
