Caren Louise Essary, 70, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 in Weatherford. She was born Oct. 4, 1946 in Dallas, to Bobby C. and Audrey (Linxwiler) Wiggins. She married James Essary, Jan. 27, 1975 in Mineral Wells. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her youngest brother, Steve Wiggins.
She is survived by her sons, Scott Auth and wife Jennifer of Amarillo, and Marty Auth of Graham; sisters, Gail Huckabay and husband Charles of Irving, Joan Watson of Hudson, Fla. and Gloria Edwards of Missouri City; brother, John Wiggins of Athens; six grandchildren, Andie Clark and husband Wes, and Robert, Pierce, Alaina, Grayson and Haele Auth; two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Maudie Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church Graham. There will be a visitation and time of fellowship at 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
