Lillie Grayce Meeks, 2, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 in Eastland. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery in Stephens County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Lillie was born Nov. 5, 2015 in Mineral Wells, to Denny Ray and Kylee Lynn (Poteet) Meeks. She loved Dr Pepper and cookies, feeding the cows and dogs, playing tug-of-war with Buster, and playing with her brother, cousins, grandparents, and mommy and daddy.
Survivors include her parents, Ray and Kylee Meeks of Graham; brother, Karson Meeks of Graham; grandparents, Travis and Sherill Poteet of Graham, Judy and Randall Hill of Graham and Denny Huff of Graham; great-grandparents, Cheryl Stewart of Crystal Falls, Marie Smith of Graham, and Marie and Buddy Jackson of Coleman; great-great-grandmothers, Delois Brown of Newcastle, Verna Blue of Breckenridge, and Mozelle Barnett of Mineral Wells; uncle, Travis J. Poteet of Graham; aunt, Kayla Wainscott and husband, Billy Bob, of Graham; aunt, Ashley Cogdill of Coleman; uncle, Eric Meeks of Mineral Wells; aunt, Jolene Huff of Mineral Wells; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Doug Stewart and Eddie Lynn Poteet, and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
