Diana Gayle Thompson Sheets “NUNU”, age 59, passed away March 1, 2018 at Medical City-Plano in Plano. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at One Community Church, 2150 Texas 121 Bus. in Lewisville. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Diana was born Aug. 13, 1958 in Olney, to the late John Columbus Thompson and Fannie Ellen (Scales) Thompson. She graduated from Olney High School in 1976. She was a retired program coordinator for Physician Clinical Education. Diana truly lived for her children and was a dedicated grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Charles Thompson.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Samuel Ray and Mary Sheets of Eagle Mountain Lake; one daughter, Andy Sheets of Coppell; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Brian and Carol Thompson of Montgomery, and Larry and Nancy Thompson of Dallas; three grandchildren: Mason Sheets and Katherine Sheets, both of Eagle Mountain Lake, and Payton Sears of Coppell; and many nieces and nephews.
