Billy Griffin Sr., 62, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Graham. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Billy was born April 2, 1955 in Mineral Wells, to the late Forrest Sullivan and Grace Selena (Glover) Griffin. He married Cynthia Lynn Moore July 18, 1973 in Graham. Billy worked for Doyle's Construction. He was truly a remarkable man, one of a kind, he will truly be missed.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Lynn Griffin of Graham; daughters, Jeleta Boyle and husband, Robert of Montrose, Colo., Janis Campbell and husband, Joe of Newcastle, and Jaynell Griffin and Jason Justus of Bryson; sons, Billy Norman Griffin Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Houston and Jason Norman Griffin and wife, Amber of Graham; sister, Jaynell Flournoy and husband, Albert of Caddo; brothers, Leonard Griffin of Mineral Wells and Aubrey Griffin and wife, Barbara of Graham; 17 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Faye Davis and Jeleta Griffin, and brothers, Arthur Dewhite Griffin Sr. and Hollis Griffin.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
