Harold L. Ward, 91, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 in Graham. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Megargel Cemetery in Megargel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Harold was born March 2, 1927 in Bunger, to the late James Alva and Laura Belle (Rouse) Ward. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He married Maxine Selph, April 6, 1947 in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death on Aug. 1, 2014. Harold was a self-employed oilfield lease operator and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include; grandchildren, Bill McClendon of Olney, J.J. McClendon of Graham, and T.J. Ward of Graham; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ward of Graham; sister-in-law, Geraldine Alexander of Archer City; eight great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by son, Billy Harold Ward and daughter, Becky Jo Moody.
