Jeffri “Joy” Frazier went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 in Abilene due to kidney failure. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham.
Joy was born Oct. 19, 1956 in Aspermont, to Merle Dean and J.W. Frazier. Survivors include sisters Miritha Caperton and husband Sam of Graham; Judy Barlow and husband Clayton of Ocala, Fla.; Glenda Rogers and husband Tommy of Breckenridge; and brother Jimmy Frazier and wife Lori of Cedar Park; 13 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews. Joy attended grade school in Breckenridge, junior high in Graham and high school in Muleshoe. Joy lived in Graham many years.
She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church in Abilene. Joy was an avid sports fan, following the Dallas Cowboys, the Graham Steers and Lady Blues. You could often see her red hair and hear her rooting for her teams. She had a remarkable memory for people and seldom forgot names or faces. Joy will be remembered for her friendliness and her bright smile.
