Melvin Wayne Phillips passed away June 29, 2020 in Arlington. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Medlan Chapel Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.
Wayne was born June 15, 1953 in Graham and was a manager at Texas Almet in Arlington. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Davis) Phillips; three daughters, Sheila Jackson and husband Steve, Lisa Keyser and husband Ken and Waynette Holsenbeck and husband Brett; son, Eric Jordan Phillips; foster daughter, Rena Chappell; three sisters, Bonnell Gathings, Glenda Coker and Barbara Wallace and husband Clay; 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
