Brad Douglas Rice, 55, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Lipan.  Memorial services will be Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.

Brad was born May 2, 1963 in Wichita Falls to Bill Edd and Elizabeth Ann (Turner) Rice. He graduated from Graham High School in 1981 and attended Southwest Texas State University. Brad owned a lawn service company.

Brad was a kind, caring and loving person. His family and friends were very important part of his life and very dear to his heart. No matter what his highs or lows, hills or valleys, or challenges he faced his faith always remained strong. He looked forward to going home to his heavenly father to be wrapped in his loving arms for eternity. 

Survivors include: mother, Liz Gallaway of Chapala MX; brother, Bill Edd Rice, Jr. of Wichita Falls; sister, Jennifer Ogle and husband, Nelson of Lipan. A step mother Karon Rice; seven step brothers and sisters Angie Barnett, John Jr., David, and Glen Gallaway, Rhonda Mills, Michelle Jones and Melissa Ainsworth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Edd Rice, Sr., and stepfather John Gallaway, Sr.

Mary Buckley, age 85, of Loving, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Garden Terrace Healthcare in Graham. Memorial graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at the Archer City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Mary was born Oct. 31, 1933 in Hermleigh to the late August B. and Nola Margaret (Harris) Smith. She was a retired Nurses Aide. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Archer City and a member of the American Legion in Archer City. She loved to work cross word puzzles and word search puzzles. She and Billy Buckley were married in 1982 in Long Beach, Calif. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2011. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lee Roy Smith.

Mary is survived by her two daughters: Melissa Manley of Loving and Saundra York of Olney; three sons: David Boone and Richard Boone, both of Graham and Billy Boone of Bowie; one sister, Patsy Bates of Archer City; two brothers: J.B. Smith of Denton and Odell Smith of Robertsdale, Ala.; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Robert Joseph Ingram

Robert Joseph Ingram, 85, passed away at his home Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Funeral will be Saturday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bob was born Aug. 13, 1933 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Hugh Esker and Almeda (McDaniel) Ingram. He quit school in the eighth grade to work for the family. He met Peggy Odom and married her on Feb. 21, 1953 and they began Ingram Texaco in 1955 on Fourth St. He started H.I.M. Producers, an oilfield company, in 1957. He retired from the station in 1980, and from his oilfield company in the early 90s. He and Peggy then worked on the farm and travelled with their grandchildren. He was always honest and fair to everyone. Bob had the most infectious smile. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include; daughter, Bobette Bone and husband Mike of Sulphur, La.; son, Lucky Ingram and wife Vonne of Graham; sister, Mary Reed Bilberry and husband Jack of Graham; brother, Bill Ingram and wife Nena of Odessa; four grandchildren, Melody Ingram of Graham, Amber Nordstrom and husband Will of Sulphur, La., Harmony Chestnut and husband J.B. of Graham, and Mitch Bone of Charleston, S.C.; great grandchildren, Bentley Nordstrom of Sulphur, La. and Duke Chestnut of Graham; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Odom; A son, Ricky Ingram, sister Eileen Wallace, and brothers, Allen Ingram, Myrle Ingram, and Ronald Ingram.

Edwin Lee Smith

Edwin Lee Smith, 91, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Services were held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 7, at Floral Heights Methodist Church with Rev. Don Yeager and Dr. Isaac Butterworth officiating. Interment was at Crestview Memorial Park following the funeral service. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Lunn’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born on Oct. 17, 1927 in Amarillo, to Lucian Edwin Smith and wife, Ada Lee Smith. He graduated from Graham High School in 1945, and he received his bachelor of science degree in petroleum geology in 1951 from The University of Texas at Austin. He served in the First Cavalry Division of the United States Army and was stationed in Japan in 1947 and 1948.

On Sept. 22, 1951 he married Betty Lou Carey in Graham. He worked for Mid-Continent Oil Company as a geologist and for Sun-Ray Oil Company in Wichita Falls as district geologist from 1951 to 1955. He became an independent geologist in 1955 and continued as an independent geologist for the rest of his career.

Smith served on the Board of Directors of North Texas Rehabilitation Center, Floral Heights Methodist Church, Wichita Falls Museum, American National Bank and Trust, and The Wichita Club. He is past President of The University of Texas Ex-Students Association. He was a longtime member of the North Texas Geological Society, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and Independent  Petroleum Association of America. He participated in fund drives for United Way, The Boys and Girls Club, Boys Scouts of America, and YMCA.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Lou Smith, his daughter Lisa Williamson and her husband, Jim, his son, Edwin Scott Smith, his sister, Donna Bell McClanahan, granddaughters Lindsey Lang and Laura Lunn and her husband, Zac, Natalie Wolfe, Katie Lang, and grandson, Scott Smith Jr., and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Imogene Hays, and his grandson, Donald Blair Lang, Jr.

The family suggests memorials to Floral Heights Methodist Church, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, or donor’s charity of choice.

Johnny Todd, 61, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Santa Teresa, N.M.  Funeral services will be Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Johnny was born Nov. 4, 1957 in Dallas to the late Joe Elick and Josie Ruth (Gibson) Todd. He married Rosa Maria Mendoza Nov. 14, 1978 in Lawton, Okla. Johnny was a Truck Driver. On weekends he loved cooking out with his sidekick Mia (his dog). He always made sure he made his beans and salsa before he left to go back on the road. He loved to ride his motorcycle and loved spending time with his family, grandkids, and great-granddaughter.

Survivors include: wife, Rosa Todd of Graham; daughter, Rebecca Todd of Graham; sons, Jason Todd of Graham and Joshua Todd of Graham; sister, Shelia Todd of Graham; brother, Joe Todd and wife, Pat of Graham; grandchildren, Christian Cervantes, Arissa Cervantes, Julian Dearcos, Jaydon Todd, and Nova Leigh Todd; great granddaughter, Jocelyn Cervantes.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JoAnn Dalton, 83, left this world to join her heavenly Father, Friday, May 3, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services were held Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Joe Finfrock. Burial followed in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

JoAnn was born Jan. 12, 1936 in Clyde to the late Merle and Anna (Woods) Wilkinson. She married Marvin Dalton June 2, 1958 in Archer City and he preceded her in death June 16, 2017. Because of her love for all, she was loved by everyone. Her relationship with Christ was evident in every aspect of her life. Her joy, wisdom and compassion touched the lives of many, she will be dearly missed.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Debbie Shifflett, Vickie Newell, Anna Fellows, husband Alan Fellows, Rena Fore, husband David Fore, all of Graham, nine grandsons and one granddaughter, Bubba Shifflett and Marissa Shifflett, Terry Shifflett, Jr. and wife Anna, Jason Fellows, Scott Newell, wife Carla, Greg Newell, wife Jean Marie, Adrian Fellows, wife Angela, Bo Fore, wife Leslie, Mikey Fellows and wife, Daniella, Brian Fore, wife Julie, and Abby Fore; and 16 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by beloved son-in-law, Terry R. Shifflett, sisters, Ruby Norton, Irene Choate, and brother, James Wilkinson.

Ronnie Lee Reddell passed away April 30, 2019 at his home near Bryson. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019, at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at McMillan-Satterwhite Chapel. Interment was in Cottonwood Cemetery near Bryson.

Ronnie was born Dec. 6, 1947 in Graham and had lived in Graham, Olney and Bryson. He was retired from Texas-New Mexico Power Company and served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sherry Reddell of Bryson; son, Shane Reddell and Julie of Bryson; daughter, Melissa Bloomfield and Brant Schmidt of Cleburne, Texas; three brothers, John Reddell, Jr., Farrel Reddell and Ken Cox, all of Graham; sister, Glenda Scheriger of Graham; 11 grandchildren, Toby Reddell and fiancé, Marley Pearce, Tanner Reddell, Katy Reddell and Collin Sparks, Lexi Bloomfield, Brett Bloomfield, Tucker Reddell, Kloey Reddell, Jake Smith, Jayden Smith, Sydney Schmidt and Sam Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Edna Reddell.

Emmit Spain Reynolds, Jr., age 69, of Newcastle, passed away on May 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Graham with Dr. Mark Bumpus, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Emmit was born on Nov. 2, 1949 in Olney, to Spain and Billy Ray (Richeson) Reynolds. He was a lifelong resident of Newcastle. He married Debby Lee on Oct. 20, 1971. He farmed and ranched all of his life, and loved the hard work and long hours. His joy was standing in a field of wheat or looking at a pasture with cattle grazing. Emmit was a member of First Baptist Church of Graham, the Southwest Cattle Raisers Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. Emmit was preceded in death by his father, Spain Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife Debby Reynolds of Newcastle; son, Brayden Reynolds and wife Angela of Dallas; daughter, Amber Paulson of Newcastle; two granddaughters, Mandie Paulson and Maddie Paulson; mother, Billy Ray Reynolds of Graham; and sister, Comell Dodson of Joaquin.

Charlotte Ann VanderPan, loving wife, passed away May 4, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 10, at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126. Visitation was held 10-11 a.m., Friday, prior to the funeral. Burial was at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.

Charlotte was born May 2 in Pampa to the late Charles and Mabel (Tarbet) Lowe. She was a graduate of Graham High School. Charlotte married John VanderPan on Sept. 15, 1965. Throughout her working career she held administrative positions for various companies. For many years she traveled and assisted her husband, John, with his business career, keeping him organized. She was a skilled textile artist, specializing in hand sewn and painted textiles. Charlotte also played the piano and autoharp, and had a deep interest in Native American history and collectibles.

Charlotte is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, John VanderPan; cousins, Gary Cotharn (Pat), James Cotharn (Ann), and Phillip Cotharn (Cathy), all of Santa Fe; “sister”-in-law, Sandy Ahaus (Bernie) of Indiana; nephews, Martin Scott VanderPan, and Jason John VanderPan (Alicia), all of Indiana; sister-in-law, Katey Velting of Michigan; and brother-in-law, Dennis VanderPan of Michigan.

Garland Lee Phillips, age 77, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 in Olney. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 13,  in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment followed in Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Garland was born Oct. 26, 1941 in Olney, to the late Sewell Hoffman and Veda Yvonne (Phillips) Hoffman. He was a lifetime resident of Olney and the Owner/Operator of G P’s Leather Shop for 46 years. He married Gena Dee Smith on March 27, 1972 in Olney. He was a member of the Olney Rodeo Association and a member of the Community Auction Board of the North Texas Rehab for over 26 years. Garland was a Protestant and a mentor to many people. Garland was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Ruby and Burley Phillips, his parents, and two brothers, Ray Phillips and Jackie Hoffman.  

Garland is survived by his wife, Gena Phillips of Olney; one son, Todd Phillips and wife Ashley of Olney; two daughters, Tiffany Dame of Olney and Tobey Wolfe of Oklahoma; two sisters, Diann Kinser of Newcastle and Felicia Jones of Olney; his step-mother, Esther Hoffman of Newcastle; seven grandchildren, Jacob Bright, Karah Dame, PFC Kalie Dame, Brinkley Bright, Aiden Phillips, Tate Twilligear and Logan Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Cambrea, Hayden and Cayleigh; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends and mentors.

Family visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home.

Glen Larance, 76, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Wichita Falls. A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.

Glen was born Jan. 5, 1943 in Ropesville to the late Wesley William and Mary Alma (Dossey) Larance. He married Shirley Ann Greenwood, Dec. 23, 1960 in Stamford. She preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2008. Glen was a retired employee of E&H Drilling as a mechanic for 20 years.

Survivors include; daughter, Glenda Sparks and husband Chuck of Weatherford; sons, Eddie Larance of Olney, Jerry Larance and wife Connie of Graham, Glenn Larance of Fort Worth, Robert Larance of Newcastle, and Michael Larance of Olney; honorary daughters, Hollie Larance of Graham and Jennifer Kimbro of Heber Springs, Ark.; 14 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brothers, Willie Ray Larance and wife Doris of Amarillo, Roy Lynn Larance and wife Jeanne of Midland, and Ricky Don Larance of Eastland.

Glen was preceded in death by grandsons, Tommy Dale Sparks and Luke Wade Johnson; granddaughters, Kenlee Larance and Natalie Hope Larance; sisters, Dorothy Faye Guinn, Mary Ruth Wilcox, Rosa Lee Hammer, Peggy Sue Lee, and Velma Lou Henry; brothers, Wesley Herman Larance, Billy Joe Larance, and Kenneth Allen Larance.

John Wesley McCracken

John Wesley McCracken died peacefully at his home at Possum Kingdom Lake, on May 13, 2019 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce at Possum Kingdom Lake. Burial will follow in McAdams Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

John was the first of three children born to John George McCracken and Lucille Shackleford in Childress Oct. 25, 1940. John was born in Childress and raised primarily in Amarillo.

John spent much time in his youth earning his honored rank of an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing and hunting.He continued to support the local Boy Scouts by helping them with improvements to their facilities.

John attended and graduated from Tascos High School in Amarillo, where he was active in sports. He was recruited and attended college at Garden City Community College, playing Football. John worked with Leverne Tuttle, pouring concrete and building grain bins. While attending College John met his life help mate, Jannet Lee Ballinger.

John was an outstanding football player. He was a tackle on the winning Garden City Community College football team of 1960-61. He was recruited by the Minnesota Vikings and visited and worked out at their training camp the summer of 1961. He soon returned home to say the pay was poor and his family was more important to him.

John and Jannet were married in Amarillo on Jan. 21, 1962. They lived in Amarillo for a short time while John worked with the railroad.

John and Jannet began their family in Garden City, Kan. where John worked for and later became a partner of Triple S Steel Company. While living in Kansas John and Jannet enjoyed bowling, boating on home-built boats, camping and fishing with their family and friends.

In 1980, John and Jannet moved their family to Possum Kingdom Lake. There they began the commercial businesses McCracken Construction Company, McCracken Boat Shop, McCracken Gas Dock, PK Industries, and Lakeview Lodge. They were founding members of the Possum Kingdom Lake Chamber of Commerce.  Additionally, they were charter members of Hell’s Gate Bass Club. John worked with the Texas Park and Wildlife creating fish habitats for Possum Kingdom Lake. John loved life on the lake and spent many hours fishing, boating, in his green house and at his beer garden, with his family and many great buddies.

John is survived by son Reese McCracken, Possum Kingdom Lake, and daughters, Kimmi and husband Jeff Barker, Possum Kingdom Lake, Mandy and husband Forest Atkins, Dallas, Laurel McCracken and husband Darrell Green, Possum Kingdom Lake, and Misty Hanson, Temple, Okla.

Grandchildren, Jeffrey Barker and wife, Denjuami, Jordan Barker and wife Sarah, Hunter McCrackenand  Destiny Rosales, James Hanson and wife, Jessica and Cane Hanson. Great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Dean Barker, Kalea Barker,Aspyn Barker, Ky Barker, Noah Hanson, April Hanson, James Hanson, Jr., Kailey Hanson and two more on the way.

Other survivors are his mother-in-law Gladys Ballinger, sisters-in-law Judy Buchanan and Jean and Darrell Bryant. Brothers-in-laws Jerry and wife Carla Ballinger, Jimmy Ballinger, John Ballinger, many nieces, nephews and multitude of friends and extended family.

John is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Jannet, his younger brother Henry McCracken, younger sister Brenda Pearl, and his Parents.

Maudine “Mona” Register

Maudine “Mona” Register, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Graham. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Cowboy Church Gatherin’. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mona was born June 8, 1936 in Ranger to the late Joseph Forrest and Velma Irene (Reddell) Smith. She married Harry Register May 13, 1955, in Eastland and he preceded her in death July 14, 2017. Mona graduated from Ranger High School and was a member of the Cowboy Church Gatherin’.

She was a Homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include: daughters, Sandra Baynes and husband, Charles of Graham and Barbara Bobbitt and husband, Randy of Graham; sons, David Register and wife, Darcy of Graham and Frank Register and wife, Penny of Graham; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and two on the way.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and two great grandson.

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Michelle Bishop Gonzales, 49, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 in Graham. A memorial service will be held to honor Michelle on May 18, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church at 1 p.m.

Michelle was born April 29, 1970 in Breckenridge to Nancy Collins Bishop and the late Charles Allen Bishop. She married Benny Gonzales, Feb. 12, 2005 in Graham. Michelle was a longtime resident of Graham and was employed for many years at Graham Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include; husband, Benny Gonzales of Graham; daughters, Keelie Gonzales, April Bishop, and Teri Gonzales all of Graham; sons, Haygen Gonzales of Graham and Benny Gonzales, III of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Nancy Bishop of Graham; brother, Charles Allen Bishop II of Tuscola; sister, Heather Westerman of Graham; eleven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Jimmy Gordon Maddin, 82, of Graham passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Rev. Ike Butterworth officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Wichita Falls.

Jimmy was born on Dec. 16, 1936 in Vernon, to the late Gordon and Lucille (Bomar) Maddin. Jimmy was retired as an agent with Possum Kingdom Real Estate.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Ted Maddin.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Katina Maddin of Graham; son Kyle Maddin and wife Kim of Bellevue, daughter Milissa Johnson and husband Freddie of Waco, son Zachary Taylor and wife Angela of Elizabethtown, Pa., and Robert Taylor of Dallas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Paul Maddin and wife Betty of Arlington; sister Jolene Burton and husband Karl of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister-in-law Toni Maddin of Lake Fork; along with several nieces and nephews.

Noma Jo Glazner

Noma Jo Glazner died peacefully May 18, 2019 with family by her side. She was born May 5, 1929 in South Bend, to George Holland Warren and Mabel Wilcox Warren joining beloved big brother George “Junior” and big sister Juanita Joyce. Noma married her true love Neal Wesley Glazner, Jr. on Sept. 10, 1955, and raised daughter Cecelia and son Joe with Neal.

Noma loved being outdoors fishing for anything that swam but especially for trout, hunting and camping with her family. She was an avid sports fan especially of her Dodgers and any sports her kids or grandkids participated in. She loved to travel to Arizona for Dodger spring training with daughter Cecelia and to Las Vegas with sister Juanita, Cecelia and nieces JoJoyce and Jean. She especially loved taking her two grandsons Neal Wesley and Joseph Benjamin on adventures during their summer vacations.

Noma loved her family and was extremely proud to be part of the Warren and Wilcox clan. She had a special place in the hearts of her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Her grandsons Neal and Joseph were the pride of her life and the birth of her great grandson Greyson Wesley Glazner to Neal and Baleigh brought her the utmost joy.

Noma Jo will be greatly missed and will be remembered with the same joy she expressed being around all of us.

Henry “Hank” Sims

Henry “Hank” Sims, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Graham.  Graveside service will be Saturday, May 25, at 1 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Henry was born in Graham on Aug. 10, 1938 to the late Lucile Kee and Henry Sims, Sr. He married Patsy Jackson in Carbon, on Aug. 27, 1960. Henry was a veteran of the United States Army and the National Guard. He was an electrician for TESCO for 22 years and was owner and operator of Hank’s Tank Truck Service for 18 years. Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he faithfully served as a Deacon.

Henry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Sims of Graham; son, Rod Sims and wife Jeanne of Edmond, Okla.; sister, Lois Boles and husband Bill of Fort Worth; and grandchildren, Jet, Keaton, Sawyer, and Atalie.

He is preceded in death by a son, Greg Sims; a sister, Sarah McDougal; and a grandson, Remick Sims.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Donna Marie Wallace

Donna Marie Wallace passed away May 22, 2019 in Graham. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at the First United Methodist Church in Graham with interment following at Pioneer Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Donna was born in Graham on May 12, 1951 and lived in Graham most of her life. She loved horse racing and watching her grandchildren play sports and show livestock, and enjoyed raising cattle and helping David operate the family business. She served as President of Graham Little League Softball and as Assistant District Superintendent of Little League Softball. Donna loved to travel to her favorite places including Las Vegas, Branson, Nashville, and New York City. She was a member of the Salem-Crestview United Methodist Church in Graham.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David Wallace of Graham; three daughters, Jana Reeves and husband Rusty, Jona Reddell and husband Johnny and Jina Jordan and husband Curtis, all of Graham; brother, Charles Casey and wife Debbie of Graham; two sisters, Marcia Shook and husband Billy of Graham and Jolene Corbett and husband Mike of Lawton, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Bryce and Briley Reeves, Hayli and Taylor Reddell, Jade, Creed and Kellar Jordan; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Betty Casey, an infant sister Chanda and by her bother in law, Bill Reese.

Billy James Lacy

Billy James Lacy passed away on May 21, 2019, in Graham, at the age of 93.

Bill was the youngest of seven children. He is predeceased by his father, Sam Lacy; his mother Beatrice Arthur Lacy; his older brothers, Arthur Lacy, Malcolm “Mutt” Lacy, and Sam Clark Lacy; and his older sisters, Helen Dodge, Clara Kearney, and Annie Ruth Heifner.

Bill will be missed by his surviving family: his oldest daughter Shelley Paclik and her husband John of Graham; his two granddaughters, Ashley Wood and Meghan German; and his four great-granddaughters, Hallie Wood, Sadie Wood, Parker German, and Campbell German; his youngest daughter Paula Bea Lacy and her spouse Gordon Quinn of Plano; and his grandson James “Clay” Wise; along with his nieces and nephews: Arthur’s daughter Shirley; Malcolm’s children Sammie, Malcolm Lee, and Robert Dean; and Clara’s daughter Jaynie; plus numerous dear friends.

Bill was born in Sherman, on Jan. 9, 1926. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII in April 1944 at the age of 18, and was stationed near Alamogordo, N.M. where he trained to be an artillery spotter. He was honorably discharged in May 1946. Afterwards, he went on to have a long career in the oil business as a permit agent and surveyor, and he worked all over the country from the Midwest all the way to Alaska. After retiring at the age of 55, he opened his own hole-plugging company in Wyoming for just over two years and enjoyed much success before closing the company to spend more time with his family.

Bill was a cowboy through and through. He grew up farming and ranching with his family and worked closely with the Hudgins family. He became a champion calf roper and rodeo star along with his faithful horse Rowdy, only a few years after leaving the Army. After retiring and moving back to Sherman, he stayed active raising cattle, gardening, and driving tractors to help out the Lacy family business. He loved his grandchildren very much and went to every livestock show, band concert, and sporting event he could to show his support. He was also a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.

The visitation will be held at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, on Tuesday, May 28, at 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Sherman afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Beyond Faith Hospice, (604 Oak St. Graham, Texas 76450) or the charity of your choice.

Harold (Hydro) Eugene Daniels

Harold (Hydro) Eugene Daniels, 62, passed away May 24, 2019 in Wichita Falls. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Hydro was born in Graham, on Feb. 5, 1957 to Howard Wayne Daniels and Betty Ratcliff. He lived in Olney his whole life and attended the South Side Baptist Church. Hydro worked in the oilfield as a roughneck up until retirement.

Survivors include his sons Jason Daniels and significant other Stephanie Stephen of Maryland Heights, Mo., Loy Daniels and wife Lynette of Iowa Park; brother, Ernie Daniels of Olney; Sisters, Lateena Jones and husband Jimmy of Olney, Debbie Wilson and husband Jerry of Duncan, Okla., Lashawna Whitsitt and husband Stephen of Olney; six grandchildren, Jalyn, Matthew, Willow, Benjamin-James, and Jared.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his sister Brenda Daniels of Olney, and grandmother, Lois Clayton of Graham.
